Ledbury Intermediate Care Unit provides short stay nursing rehabilitation for up to 14 Service Users requiring step down care following surgery or medical intervention in hospital or step up care following an illness or incident at home which requires some stabilisation or therapy input prior to returning home. The role also includes management of the Ledbury Minor Injuries Unit which provides 7 days per week nurse-led care which could include head injuries, wounds, burns and sprains and can be accesses with or without a referral. To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC for the Registration and Inspection of Nursing Homes and NMC guidelines. To enable Service Users to control their own financial affairs, where possible, and finances monitored with up to date accurate records kept of all transactions.
