Responsibilities of a Prep Chef
* Undertake all Kitchen Porter responsibilities where relevant/needed
* Open your section and ensure readiness for service
* Prepare dishes in line with company specifications at all times
* Support the Senior Chef on duty to ensure a smooth service
* Prep food according to prep lists
Food Quality, Presentation, and Hygiene
* Ensure all food presented to customers is prepared with the freshest ingredients and meets TRG standards
* Be responsible for preparing and presenting quality food, ensuring all final products leaving the kitchen meet company standards
* Report any issues with food quality and freshness from suppliers or the central kitchen to the Head/Senior Chef or General Manager
* Follow stock labeling (DOT system) and rotation system (FIFO) to ensure proper identification and usage of products
* Be aware of correct temperatures for deliveries, storage, and cooking, recording them daily on temp log sheets
* Support the Head/Senior Chef in implementing any menu changes following company procedures
