Driver Hire Leeds West are urgently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a temp-to-perm position with a well-established client in Leeds (LS19). Our customer is a well established powder coating company who have been around for over 70 years. This is a great opportunity to join a great company!
1. Consistent 40 hours per week

3. Monday to Friday
4. 6:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
5. Driving an 18T curtainside (manual) vehicle
6. Up to 6 deliveries per day (often fewer)
7. Routes include: Leeds, York, Doncaster, Elland, Middlesbrough and Manchester
8. Assisting with loading and securing the vehicle
Requirements
9. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
10. Full CPC and Digital Tacho Card
11. Confident driving an 18-tonne curtainside vehicle
12. Comfortable with manual transmission
13. Able to commit to a full-time, 4-day working pattern
14. Reliable with good communication
15. Maximum 6 points (minor offences only)
16. Must be aged 25 or over
Desirable
17. Forklift licence
18. Experience with loading and unloading
Pay and Benefits
19. From £16.14 per hour (holiday pay included)
20. Permanent Salary of £30,168.00 after the temp to perm period.
