This is an exciting opportunity to lead a pastry kitchen, create innovative and delicious desserts, and help establish Ottolenghis signature style in a brand-new location.
The ideal Head Pastry Chef will be:
A talented pastry chef with proven experience leading a pastry section, ideally in a high-end restaurant or bakery
Passionate about creating seasonal, beautiful, and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts that embody Ottolenghis ethos
Skilled in menu development, able to create both innovative and classic pastries while maintaining quality and consistency
Experienced in managing a team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop pastry chefs
Knowledgeable about all aspects of pastry production, including food safety, stock management, and ordering
Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Enthusiastic about fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
Comfortable with managing a fast-paced kitchen environment while ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency
