National Army Museum – Summer Placement: Front of House Visitor Assistant
The National Army Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, through our World Class Museum and Collections. Our galleries, exhibitions, and public programmes allow visitors to explore what it’s like to be a soldier, understand the reasons behind conflicts—past and present—and discover the impact of the Army on society.
This is a unique opportunity to join our Front of House team, supporting both the Visitor Experience and Retail & Admissions departments to ensure all visitors receive a warm, engaging, and professional welcome.
The role involves working 4 days per week, including some weekends, until Friday 31 October 2025. The schedule can be flexible to accommodate study or term times, if applicable. The position is paid at the National Minimum/Living Wage (*age dependent). Full induction and training will be provided.
Applications close at 12:00 pm on Friday, 23 May 2025. Interviews will be held on 5th and 6th June 2025. Reasonable travel expenses for in-person interviews are reimbursable.
For further assistance, please contact the Department of Human Resources. If you do not receive a response within two weeks of the closing date, please assume your application was unsuccessful. Due to high volume, feedback cannot be provided at this stage.
The National Army Museum is an Equal Opportunities employer.
