Northamptonshire Children's Trust Localities Business Support Team is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join the busy Duty and Assessment Safeguarding business support team, providing support to Social Worker teams. Working within a team of 6 and supporting a wider team of 60, this role offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families and young people. The role is office-based, with potential for hybrid working after successful training. Hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00-17:30 and Friday 09:00-17:00. Please note this is a fixed-term role until June 2026.
You are positive, dynamic, solution-focused, with experience in business support or administration. You enjoy working with daily deadlines and have experience working in a fast-paced, sensitive, and confidential environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other IT applications is required. Experience in processing invoices, minute-taking, and touch typing is desirable, as these are key tasks for this role.

In this role, you may assist with sourcing baby seats, organizing food vouchers, and liaising with Police, Health, Youth Offending, and Crime Reduction agencies to coordinate meetings. You will support a wide range of situations affecting young people aged 0-27 years, providing confidential administrative support and minute-taking to ensure accurate records of professional discussions. You will enjoy networking with multi-agency professionals.
