Therapeutic Care Worker

Hours:
40 hours per week (2 then 3 shifts, alternating weeks)
Shift Pattern:
8:00am
11:00pm sleep, then 8:30am finish
We are a therapeutic childrens home supporting young people aged 817 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused, ensuring that children receive care and guidance from staff who understand the impact of early life experiences on current coping strategies and emotional wellbeing.
We are seeking
creative, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals
who are passionate about delivering interventions that help young people thrive. You will work with a small group of children, currently 2 with plans to increase to 3, in a safe, supportive environment.
Our team operates within a
Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), which means understanding the emotional and psychological needs of both young people and staff to create an effective and nurturing setting. We are looking for candidates who are open to working in a therapeutic-informed way, helping us provide the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver trauma-informed care and support to children in line with their individual care plans
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Implement creative interventions to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments
