Job Description
The Business Operations function within OMG UK has been created to help the agencies and relevant central teams improve their efficiency and effectiveness with an overall objective of ‘smarter working for better outcomes’. There are three pillars of Business Operations: Workforce Distribution, Business Automation and Media Operations, all underpinned by Project Management and working collectively to deliver the overall team objective.
1) Media Operations
- Supporting the agencies with process and rolling out new systems, platforms and ways of working for them to operate more efficiently, with a particular focus on media teams
- Supporting the research, development and roll out of bespoke tools, automations, or platform integrations
2) Workforce Distribution
- Ensuring resource in Annalect India and Newcastle is used optimally and successfully across the UK business
- Identifying new tasks and opportunities for Annalect India, and that adequate training and process is provided to deliver success with new roles
3) Business Automation
- Building a data layer for all agencies and clients to form a foundation for automated reporting and to support wider automation ambitions (working alongside the OMG Labs engineering resource)
- Creating dashboards to fuel central business intelligence across both media and other areas of the business
- Using advanced automation to reduce manual tasks using the Power Platform and utilising new artificial intelligence capabilities
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a Digital Operations Associate Director to lead operational workstreams that support the agency digital media teams focusing on search, social and programmatic but also other areas of digital including ecommerce, SEO and affiliates. They support the Director of Media Operations in identifying and delivering solutions and best practice that will enable digital teams to operate smarter in their planning and activation tasks. They also support the Director of Offshore Relations in any work with Annalect India that could bring efficiencies into digital media teams by improving the use of offshored resource.
ABOUT YOU
- You will have a background in digital media, ideally at a media agency
- This role is ideal if you have a real passion for process and systems, you enjoy working with data and systems, are technically literate and have a willingness to learn more
- You have some experience of people management and collaborating with teams
- Skills in organisation, communication, presenting, and problem solving
- You have a can-do attitude and a drive to make positive change alongside a commercial mindset to deliver long term operational efficiencies
- Experience of offshoring/dashboarding/automation is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of some of these technologies/platforms may be an advantage: Mediaocean - particularly Buyer Workflow, DSP’s, Meta, Google Ads, Hive, Adobe Workfronts, Cornerstone.
