We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for retail management. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
* Manage inventory levels, merchandising displays, and stock replenishment to optimise product availability.
* Provide training and support to staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
* Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll processing, and performance evaluations.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
* Maintain effective communication with management regarding store performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment is essential.
* Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to our diverse customer base.
* Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successful team management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
* Proficient in time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Familiarity with merchandising principles and retail sales strategies is advantageous.
