Our Client, a leading Healthcare Organisation based in Northampton, are looking to strengthen their internal support team supporting over 500 users in the UK!We are looking for a Jnr IT Engineer to join the 1st Line Support Team supporting the Microsoft 365 infrastructure, Networks and Systems, and our client is offering a superb Jnr IT Support opportunity with training and career progression on offer.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
Respond to IT support requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Document and track issues, solutions, and work performed using ticketing system.
Maintain a proven record of closing 30+ support tickets per day
Support the IT team with various projects and initiatives as needed.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Support out-of-hours installations when required (overtime paid x2)
some Travel across mainland UK as needed to support remote sites
Qualifications
IT Graduate (college or Uni) or Industry Certs (CompITA / Microsoft) or have experience in an IT support role
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
