We are looking for a level 1/2 IT support technician to join our team, based in central Bournemouth, providing support and managed services to businesses of all shapes and sizes.
The ideal candidate will:
* Live within 30 minutes approximately of Bournemouth town centre
* Act as first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues
* Have familiarity with the installation and configuration of IT systems
* Have strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
* Be able to ensure security and compliance of client and server devices
* Have strong communication and customer service skills
* Be able to maintain and update technical documentation
* Have a desire to learn
In addition, the following IT skills and experience would be desirable:
* Experience providing IT support to a range of different customers
* Experience of using a ticket management system
* Experience with remote management and monitoring solutions
* Office 365 admin experience
* Desktop support for both Windows and Mac
* Understanding and awareness of Active Directory
* Awareness of security procedures and implementation
* Cloud/Azure experience a bonus
Ideally have own transport
Hours are Monday to Friday
