Job Title: Senior IPS Employment Specialist
We are seeking a Senior IPS Employment Specialist to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our STEP-UP Programme.
What will be expected from me?
As part of the expansion of the STEP-UP Programme, you will be responsible for managing a small team of two specialist IPS Employment Specialists and handling a caseload of clients in structured treatment for drug and/or alcohol use. Your role is to assist clients in securing sustainable paid employment aligned with their preferences.
What might I be doing?
* Monitoring and reporting outcomes to the Council’s Public Health Team and developing improvement measures as needed.
* Delivering the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (training will be provided), offering person-centred advice and guidance to clients, and building positive relationships with Business Engagement Officers to facilitate clients' entry into suitable employment.

* A full-time position of 37 hours per week, with a flexible mix of office and homeworking.
