The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Air Solutions team as Heating Engineer. Our team helps develop and grow LG’s UK Air Solutions business in line with company strategies and objectives.
As Heating Engineer, you will provide technical support for air-to-water heat pump products to resolve complex operational issues. You will commission heating systems following company procedures and manage heating installation projects.
Your Role & Responsibilities
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of heating products and technologies
* Commission heating systems according to company procedures
* Provide onsite technical support and manage heating installation projects
* Conduct technical training on LG heating systems
* Participate in the technical helpdesk to support installers and service engineers
* Identify spare parts and manage parts ordering for customers and distribution
* Provide warranty support for all products
* Assist application and sales engineers with heating system designs
* Promote LG Air Solutions products and services
* Support customers with queries and liaise with relevant internal departments to resolve issues
* Maintain and service sales agreements, aiming to meet KPIs
* Collaborate with other teams to resolve heating issues, support new product introductions, and manage product end-of-life
Skills, Education & Experience
* Experience in the heating heat pump market, preferably from a reputable manufacturer; engineering or technical qualifications are desirable
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and government grants
* Technical and product awareness
* Experience working within performance management environments, including KPIs and SLAs
* Flexibility and ability to develop customer-focused targets and services
* Resilience to drive issues to successful resolution
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Good judgment for practical decision-making
* Commercial acumen and ability to meet commercial objectives
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
