About the Role
We are proud to be partnering with this operation, one of Cornwall’s most iconic 4-star coastal destinations, to recruit a Guest Relations–driven Operations Manager.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of this dynamic resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across all departments.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-quality hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with the General Manager to lead daily resort operations
2. Provide strong leadership across departments, including: Front of HouseHousekeepingMaintenanceSelf-Catering Operations
3. Drive a culture of exceptional guest experience and service delivery
4. Lead, coach, and develop departmental managers and teams
5. Ensure all accommodation and public areas meet consistently high standards
6. Oversee operational performance, efficiency, and service quality
7. Take ownership of decision-making and resolve issues proactively
8. Manage budgets, labour costs, and departmental KPIs
9. Maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling initiatives
10. Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
11. Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism
About You
12. Proven experience in a senior operations role within a 4 or 5 hotel or resort**
13. Strong background in guest relations and service leadership
14. A hands-on, visible leader who leads from the front
15. Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and performance
16. Excellent communication and team development skills
17. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard hospitality environment
Package
18. Salary up to £50,000 per annum
