We're looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our progressive, award-winning Mechanical & Electrical Engineering team in our Bristol office, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme, where you'll be delivering sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that specializes in the delivery of building services, energy, and sustainability services. We offer a fresh approach by getting involved early, working collaboratively with the design team, guiding design development, and using our expertise to help clients make key decisions – an approach that always results in a building that delivers.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment. You will benefit from strong support from both office and technical colleagues, as well as significant guidance from senior staff within our open and collaborative culture.
Your role includes:
1. Working on live projects from the start in a variety of sectors, from healthcare to education
2. Electrical services design and calculations using the latest computer modelling software Dialux, Relux, and Electrical OM
3. Working with supervisors on scheme design concepts
4. Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production and design coordination with other professional disciplines
5. Producing detailed designs and drawings
6. Undertaking design in artificial and natural light, building data networks, and fire safety alarms
7. Input into or development of energy and sustainability strategies
8. Participating in design team and client meetings
9. Undertaking site visits or surveys
10. Researching and implementing new technologies
11. Engaging in continuous CPD and learning opportunities
12. Designing and creating electrical circuits, wiring, and lighting as part of your typical work

About you:
