About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product Market Researcher to drive commercial strategy by placing customer insight at the heart of CMI's decision-making. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a compelling research programme, leveraging data across the entire customer journey to truly understand our members and learners. Your expertise will ensure CMI continues to set the professional standard in management and leadership.
Responsibilities:
* Work to support the delivery of a challenging and engaging research and insight programme for CMI, specifically to inform our product and proposition development and marketing activity.
* Understand our customer, member and learner behaviours; using quantitative and qualitative data throughout the entire customer journey and using this to inform commercial decisions.
* Design and conduct research and evaluate data to assess customer needs, investigate competitor behaviour, inform the development of new products, draw out key insights and make recommendations.
* Work with key stakeholders to ensure that customer insight drives business decisions; for example product/ proposition development, marketing activity, pricing strategy and user experience.

* Demonstrable experience of undertaking managing market research projects either in an agency or client side.
* Experience with a wide array of product, brand perception, drivers and choice modelling and customer satisfaction research methodologies.
* Experience of undertaking data analysis and telling stories with quantitative (and ideally also qualitative)data, as well as secondary data.
* Experience of generating customer insights and converting them into business actions.
* Experience of commissioning research and managing research contractors.
* Experience of data analysis using software and platforms such as Excel, Google Sheets and others.
* Research experience in the education sector would be desired, but not essential.
