Company description:.Job description:Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new challenge?At GXO Crewe, were expanding our team and recruiting Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support our TJX operations.Youll be employed on a full-time, permanent contract, working 48 hours per week on a fixed Friday to Monday rota. Start time bands are04:0007:00 and 07:0010:00 .Our 24/7 Crewe site supports three TJX operations, meaning your work will be varied and engaging. Duties will include trunking, store deliveries and collections from third-party vendorsPay, benefits & Rewards:An annual salary of up to £43,555.2028 days pro Rata annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)Flexible dental insurance plansA company sponsored pension schemeA 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and fully comprehensive employee assistance programmeAccess to our MyBenefits platform, offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!Admission to GXO University, our online learning platform enabling you to achieve your career aspirations!What youll do on a typical day:Safely and efficiently transporting goods between TJX sitesCompleting collections from third-party locationsUsing hand-held scanners to complete all required tasksFollowing planned routes via hand-held devices to support our commitment to reducing bridge strikesEnsuring full compliance with all driving legislation and company policiesMaintaining stock and seal integrity at all timesCarrying out thorough pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthinessUndertaking any other duties reasonably required as part of the roleWhat you need to succeed at GXO:A full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlementA valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph CardNo more than 6 current penalty pointsNo DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 yearsFull induction programme including, Site induction, Manual handling, SSOW training, RTITB trainingBuddy shifts provided during initial trainingSupport from a dedicated compliance team to help you succeed day to day.We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.TPBN1_UKTJ
