We are now looking for a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Care Assistant – Nights at Winchester Heights Care Home in Winchester.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity and respect at all times.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and raise any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About You

Ideal Candidate Must
* Have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and others.
* Be an efficient worker capable of carrying out reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Be adaptable and flexible enough to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Required Documentation
* A DBS Disclosure check – the cost will be covered by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
