The Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Centre (OSEC) is an innovative hub within Saïd Business School with a mission to support and promote entrepreneurial pathways for University of Oxford students and alumni. Through flagship events, structured programmes, year-long initiatives and a vibrant entrepreneurial community, OSEC provides experiential learning, access to networks and thought leadership to inspire and enable the next generation of entrepreneurs.
This is a fixed-term (two years), full-time (37.5 hours per week) role at Grade 6: £35,681 - £41,636 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate project and event management, including planning, logistics and stakeholder liaison.
* Provide operational and administrative support across a portfolio of programmes and events.
* Contribute to the development of new initiatives and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
* Implement standardised processes and programme policies.
* Support consultants and external contributors engaged in OSEC activities.
What you will do
You will be at the heart of OSEC’s programming, supporting Programme Managers to ensure the smooth design, coordination and delivery of initiatives such as the Oxford Venture Builder, the MBA Entrepreneurship Project, the Oxford Seed Fund and the Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Forum. You will coordinate programme activities, oversee logistics, support event delivery, liaise with stakeholders and ensure high standards for students, alumni and partners. This role offers exposure to senior academics, business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors across Oxford and beyond.
Requirements
You will have proven experience managing projects in complex organisational settings with strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously, and excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. You should be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels. You must have the Right to Work within the UK, as this role may not qualify for sufficient points under the UK points-based immigration system.
