The successful Forklift Operator will ideally have a Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence (will accept inhouse), although they will consider candidates who only hold a Counterbalance certificate and have previously worked in a busy distribution or stockholding environment - ideally within Steel, Wood or other engineering environments. Duties of the Forklift Operator will involve: Loading and Unloading vehicles Putting stock away on racking Order picking and packing Operating various machines (training will be provided) Taking part in stock checks (as and when required) The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have excellent attention to detail, as well as good numeracy and literacy skills.
