1. Implement, undertake and operate, on a day-to-day basis, under the supervision of the Access Coordinator, the admission arrangements, security and maintenance at the vehicle Entrances to the Park.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Manage the entrance kiosk, operate tills and related equipment and issue tickets on receipt of admission fees and other charges, and give correct change.
3. Safeguard cash, tickets and stocks and balance all transactions.
4. Control, monitor, check and record all paid and free admissions of vehicles and persons during normal hours of opening and at other times as required
5. Welcome, help and impart information to visitors, dispense leaflets and regulations as required, and deal with and/or refer enquiries or complaints as appropriate.
6. Maintain effective security at the entrance and implement emergency procedures when required, liaising with the Police/Fire Service and other Park staff as necessary.
7. Report and, as necessary, record incidents.
8. Enforce byelaws and rules.
9. Maintain effective communications with the rest of the site using radio, telephone and other methods.
10. Clean and maintain the toilet facilities at the entrance.
11. Operate from entrances other than normal for special events or in an emergency.
Maintain and manage the designated area at the Entrance to a consistently high standard of appearance and presentation. Notwithstanding the detail in this job description, in accordance with the Council’s Flexibility Policy the job holder will undertake such work as may be determined by the Director/Corporate Manager from time to time, up to or at a level consistent with the Principal Responsibilities of the job and in any location within the Borough of Cheshire East.

An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Tatton Park Gatekeepers Team. The position is for 0.36 FTE (13.33 hours) per week.
About you
You will design, deliver and evaluate workforce development and planning programmes and initiatives so that the Council has well led and managed people with the right capabilities, skills, and attitudes in the right place at the right time. You will assist in overseeing our apprentice contract, where you will be monitoring apprenticeship training providers to ensure the training they deliver is of a high standard and appropriate to staff.
As an organisation we continue to develop ways in which we assess our current and future workforce requirements within the Council. You will assist with supporting delivery of the relevant workforce assessments and analysis across the multiple services and teams we have.
You will deliver complex organisational wide learning and development solutions and their associated contracts, including our apprenticeship training provision and the provision of training across corporate and service training programmes and leadership and management programmes (including the contract for Health & Safety training for the Council).
