We have an exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to work within the Scottish Borders Learning Disability Team with support from the Physiotherapy team who work within mental health services.
You will be an experienced Physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and work within a community based multi-disciplinary team supporting people with learning disabilities. The successful post-holder will be required to travel widely across the Borders region as part of service delivery
You will have experience of working with people with learning disabilities especially around physical health, including delivering on Postural Care with individualised assessment and interventions.
A full current UK driving licence is essential and will be checked at Interview. Access to a car is essential
A requirement of this post is to become a member of Protection of vulnerable groups (PVG) Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check. All applicants are required to confirm their right to work in the UK in their application

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
