We are currently recruiting for a REACH Project/Programme Manager to support one of our customers with a project that includes r eviewing all of their current products to see how REACH legislation will affect the products. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience, seniority, etc. The contract is deemed outside of IR35 for Sub-contract labour but a Staff position are available for the right candidates. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our client and will be expected to be proactive and self-motivated in delivering the targeted outputs to support the product. The PM will report directly to the Product Delivery Leader (PDL) and their role will involve them to be based at the Client's site. Working within the PCPR team in our Aero & Defence Business Unit, successful candidates will join our experienced team, with whom you will work on varied projects in high-tech and future-oriented industries taking on exciting and responsible tasks according to your skills and knowledge, thus expanding your existing know-how. Programme Manager with at least 10years experience and technical background who can act as the 'thought leader' and drive the customer team to achieve key objectives Review all customer current products to see how REACH legislation will affect the products Developing REACH workflow & processes Responsible for the execution and delivery of Projects across the lifecycle to include product introduction, product improvement and in-production/in-service support Provide project control board style data (progress and metrics) in support of the projects reporting. Provide ‘lessons learned’ inputs to projects at the beginning of the design lifecycle Deliver allocated REACH related engineering tasks on-time, on-quality and on-budget Work under minimal supervision to achieve objectives on-time, on-quality and on-budget which will directly impact positive project outcomes Influence decisions by providing advice within closely related working teams Assist with and coordinate work packages Write reports and present work undertaken at peer and design reviews Adhere to customer policies, procedures, and practices at all times Engineering degree, or equivalent, with proven practical Engineering knowledge and experience Candidates without accredited qualifications will be considered depending upon experience Engineering & Project Management background Risk & Issue Management Resource / Capability Management Demonstrate a good knowledge of design lifecycle, verification and validation requirements plus production processes.
