We are working with a leading manufacturer of underwater technology, supplying innovative solutions to customers across the energy, offshore, scientific, and defence sectors. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Projects Quality Engineer to join their team and ensure quality excellence across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to define and document quality expectations and deliverables.
Support risk management activities using FMEA to identify and mitigate quality-related risks.
Develop and implement project-specific quality plans aligned with project controls.
Conduct quality reviews at key project milestones: initiation, planning, development, pre-production, testing, and release.
Ensure supplier and internal compliance with customer, technical, and regulatory standards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances during and post-project launch.
Maintain traceability and documentation of quality records and test results.
Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across project teams.
Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO/TS standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Proficient in quality tools and methodologies:
APQP (FMEA, MSA, Capability Analysis, Control Plans)
8D Problem Solving
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Experience in design for manufacturing and integrating quality into project planning.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and stage gate reviews.
Skilled in auditing, inspection, and validation processes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk and issue resolution.
Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Competent in data analysis and performance metrics.
