THE ROLE
We are looking for a Mid-Weight Producer to join our growing team at ZERO. This is an opportunity to work on high-end television commercials and other creative briefs and activations. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years experience within commercial production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Multi-Project Management: Provide hands-on support across a range of advertising campaigns simultaneously, from initial planning through to final delivery, spanning TV, digital, social, and branded content.
* Scheduling & Resourcing: Create and oversee detailed production timelines and resourcing plans from pitch to post, ensuring alignment with creative, client service, and media deadlines.
* Budget Management: Create production budgets, building, tracking, and reconciling costs while meeting financial targets and processing supplier and freelancer payments.
* Production Materials: Prepare and maintain clear, accurate documentation such as schedules, call sheets, risk assessments, and client-facing decks for pitches and productions.
* Crew & Logistics: Research, source, and contract trusted crew, vendors, equipment, accommodation, and talent, both domestically and internationally, in line with creative and production needs.
* Shoot Preparation & On-Set Support: Organise and attend shoots when needed, managing logistics, talent, and client expectations to ensure smooth and professional execution on location or in studio.
* Client Relations: Serve as a key liaison for internal teams and external partners, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout each project.
* Rights & Licensing: Handle research and clearance of archive footage and music, ensuring correct licensing and compliance with advertising usage requirements.
* Compliance Oversight: Manage content approvals and compliance with industry bodies and brand guidelines (e.g. Clearcast, ASA), safeguarding against legal or regulatory issues.
* Final Asset Delivery: Supervise the post and delivery of final assets to clients, broadcasters, and digital platforms, ensuring quality control and technical specifications are met.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
* Production Expertise: Strong knowledge of contemporary commercial production and post- production processes, with familiarity across suppliers including kit hire, post facilities, casting, studios, and location resources.
* Clearance Knowledge: Demonstrated experience managing clearance processes across TV, radio, and cinema, working with regulators and ensuring content meets industry standards.
* Communication Skills: Articulate and confident communicator, effective in bridging creative, production, and client teams.
* Attention to Detail: Highly accurate with the ability to identify potential issues or inconsistencies at any stage of production.
* Organised & Proactive: Adept at juggling multiple projects in fast-moving environments, working independently and taking initiative as required.
* Collaborative Approach: Works well both independently and within a team, maintaining a flexible
