Customer Service Team Lead required for expanding and award winning motor insurance business based in Chertsey. Due to the location of the office being rural on a farm, you do need to be a car driver to reach the headquarters. The role is Monday to Friday (9-5) and every other Saturday (10-2). Plus the chance to earn commission too. This role will be pivotal in taking ownership of the team's day to day performance, ensuring every customer interaction is professional and compliant and leaves a lasting impression. Whether you’re supporting team members with tricky customer calls, handling escalated conversations yourself, or monitoring call quality and KPIs, your focus will be on delivering an exceptional phone-based service experience. Key responsibilities: * 2-3 years in a customer service supervisory or team lead environment * Comfortable in using customer service systems, CRM's, and handling a high volume of calls * Help to develop the teams confidence and capability through coaching, mentoring and training * manage workflows and shift patterns (including some Saturdays) to ensure our lines are always well-covered * Experience in the insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment (Desirable) Looking for a great communicator who’s calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and confident jumping on the phone one moment and then leading internal team coaching the next. You’ll need a positive, can-do attitude, sharp attention to detail, and a passion for delivering great service through conversation.
