Fabrication Fitter / Mechanical Assembler – Coleshill
Location: Coleshill, Warwickshire
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am–2pm, Friday 6am–1pm (39 hours per week)
Pay: £13.00 to £16.00 per hour depending on experience + paid breaks
Contract Type: Permanent
Transport: Own transport required due to location
We are recruiting for Fabrication Fitters / Mechanical Assemblers to join a well-established prefabrication team in Coleshill. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a global business.
This is an active, hands-on role focused on the assembly of large metal components using hand and power tools, including drills and saws. The work is physical and fast-paced, and would suit someone with good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with tools or in a manufacturing environment.
Main responsibilities:

Assembly and fitting of large fabricated components following detailed manufacturing drawings

Use of hand tools and power tools including drills, saws, and measuring equipment
*
Contributing to high standards of health and safety and continuous improvement
*
Working both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
Candidate profile:

Reliable transport to access the site on time for early starts
