The Role...
At Clancy, we’re proud to support Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks in delivering essential infrastructure across the region. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll use data, digital tools, and hands-on insight to help drive smarter, safer ways of working. It’s a varied role where you’ll grow your skills, get out on site, and make a real impact from day one.
Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in...
* Analysing data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
* Designing complex distribution infrastructure including Substation, Cable system and Overhead Line.
* Supporting teams with tools like Depotnet, Cable modelling, AutoCad and Revit.
* Managing various multidisciplinary stakeholders internally and externally.
* Getting out on site to gather on the ground knowledge of constructability, areas of engineering difficulty and key risks.
* Helping to embed digital tools and best practice across the business
* You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working closely with colleagues across engineering, delivery, and digital.
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...
You’re proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused, with a natural curiosity and a desire to learn. You’re confident with data, know your way around tools like Excel and the entire suite of Microsoft tools, and you can explain your findings clearly to different audiences.
You’ll hold a BEng/BSc in relevant engineering discipline (Electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering etc.)
You’ll also need...
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A full UK driving licence (as site visits are part of the role)
Ideally, a background or interest in utilities or infrastructure
