This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a nurturing nature, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for Early Years education to make a meaningful impact during a child s most formative years.
The Role:
* Support pupils aged 3 5 in Nursery and Reception
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering play-based learning
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, especially for pupils with additional needs
* Encourage social, emotional, and language development
* Contribute to observations, learning journals, and progress tracking
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Warm, patient, and proactive with a child-centred approach
* Confident supporting speech, language, and early literacy development
* Understanding of SEN and inclusive practices is desirable
* Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Education or equivalent preferred
