We have an excellent opportunity for a procurement lead to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to create change and deliver a professional, compliant, customer-focused procurement service, delivering a range of goods, services and works contracts. A passion and enthusiasm for procurement and all that we represent is a must!
Responsibilities include developing and implementing multi-site sourcing strategiesand contractsfor high spend and high risk areas, as well as management of key suppliers to drive performance and ensure that social value and value for money principles are embedded throughout the tenderingand contractmanagementprocess. Promoting procurement best practice throughout the organisation will also be a core part of the role, so strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills are essential.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who tackles challenges with a pragmatic and enthusiastic approach, who has a strong background in operational procurement, ideally including public contracts procurement.
