People Administrator
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hybrid Hours: Permanent, Full time

We are on the hunt for an individual who is passionate about the People within its organisation. The People Administrator will be the first point of contact for day-to-day people matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and grow their HR knowledge and learn from an incredibly busy team offering exposure to a variety of HR areas. People are at the core of what we do at Academia, we're looking for someone who is eager to get stuck in; who puts people first whilst maintaining an excellent business approach; and generally, someone who loves the challenge of working in an incredibly fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You'll need to be able to juggle conflicting priorities and work well under pressure, whilst ensuring you maintain accuracy and meet deadlines. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative function including system administration and HR project assistance. You will work closely supporting all companies within the Academia Technology Group (ATG) and will gain exposure to all areas HR This role would suit an experienced People Administrator who is keen to progress and develop within a HR environment.
CIPD qualified or working towards is advantageous but not essential.
Amongst other tasks, you will be responsible for:
* Responsible for the administration of all internal JML (Joiners, Movers, Leavers).
* Onboarding of new starters, this includes offer letters, new starter packs, arranging inductions, completing the first day induction, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed such as proof of right to work, referencing and DBS checks.
* Accurate employee record management.
* Supporting with Talent Management, this may include recruitment correspondence and scheduling interviews.
* Administration for all types of absences across the group, including accurate record keeping and required documentation.
* Collating various reports
* System administration for various platforms including employee benefit portals, payroll submission portal and the internal HRIS
* Supporting both employees and management, providing advice on internal processes and policies.
* Minute taking and generating follow up documentation.
* Monitor completion and confirmation of probationary periods
* Assisting in the development of human resource procedures and policies as the group continues to rapidly grow.
* Administration for HR related matters.
* Monthly payroll collation.
* Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records including any contractual changes.
* Supporting with ongoing and adhoc HR Projects, this may include the development of processes and policies as the business grows.
* Managing the people team mailbox
* Supporting with people team events, initiatives and committees.

* Demonstrable organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
* High level of attention to detail in order to prepare accurate documents.
* Capable and confident of acting as point of reference/contact for enquiries.
