Forest School Teacher (Part-Time – 5 Mornings per Week)Location: Kinson, BournemouthStart Date: After the Easter Half Term
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Forest School Teacher to lead and deliver an engaging outdoor learning programme at one of our welcoming mainstream schools in Kinson, Bournemouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about child-led learning, outdoor education, and nurturing confidence, resilience, and curiosity in young learners.
The RoleYou will be responsible for planning, leading, and delivering high-quality Forest School sessions across five mornings each week. Working with primary-aged children, you will create a safe, inspiring, and inclusive outdoor environment that supports holistic development through hands-on experiences in nature.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Forest School sessions in line with Forest School principles
* Foster a safe and supportive outdoor learning environment
* Encourage exploration, creativity, and independence in children
* Carry out risk assessments and ensure health & safety procedures are followed
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community
* Maintain and manage outdoor equipment and resources
About You
* Level 3 Forest School qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Confident in outdoor risk management and site organisation
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
