Overview of role:
You will be working alongside class teachers and will work in a variety of roles including supporting an allocated child a group of children or across a whole class group. The successful candidate will be able to provide academic emotional and social support to enable the children to achieve their best.
Key details:
* Hours: Monday to Friday ((8:45am 3:45pm) 37 hours per week
* Termtime only (39 weeks per year)
* Wage: 7.55 per hour
* Location: Pyenest Road Harlow CM19 4PH
Apprenticeship details:
* Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Duration of course: 16 months
* Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK!)
* All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside role.
Full Duties and Responsibilities:
Jerounds Primary Academy are looking for an apprentice Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team in September 2025. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Learning Support Assistants (LSA) would work alongside and individually from class successful candidate will be able to provide academic emotional and social support to enable the children to achieve their best.
* Work positively with all individuals or small groups of children as a team under the direction of teaching staff
* Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as directed by the teacher adjusting activities according to pupils responses as appropriate
* As a team and as an individual support work with whole classes individuals or small groups of children under the direction of teaching staff
* To provide highquality learning and offer appropriate stimulation and support to the children according to individual needs as directed by the class teacher or school leadership
* You will work alongside class teachers in a variety of roles including supporting an individual child small groups of children or the entire class. You will assist children with a wide range of abilities needs and learning styles.
