Our client is a highly ambitious Top 20 firm with a significant national presence and over 30 years of expertise. Known for their rapid growth and business advisory focus, they support a diverse range of SMEs and large corporations from their modern Norwich office.
Bookkeeper responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of ambitious client businesses.
* Ensuring Xero and QuickBooks records are maintained with a high degree of accuracy.
* Preparing and filing VAT returns while ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met.
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients to resolve queries and gather financial information.
As the successful candidate you will
* Have proven experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally gained within a professional accountancy practice environment.
* Be highly proficient in cloud accounting software, specifically Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext.
* Hold an ICB qualification or be qualified by experience with a methodical approach to data entry.
* Possess the ability to manage a personal workload and meet deadlines across multiple client accounts.
