About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our busy pub/restaurant kitchen. As Kitchen Manager, you'll inspire and develop your team, take ownership of all aspects of the kitchen, and ensure every dish leaves the pass to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role where you'll balance leadership with cooking, stock management, and compliance responsibilities. If you're passionate about fresh food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love leading a team, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards.
* Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes.
* Maintain full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen regulations.
* Manage kitchen budgets, stock levels, ordering, and waste control.
* Work closely with the management to ensure smooth service and business growth.
* Support menu development, specials, and seasonal dishes in line with brand standards.
* Recruit, train, and develop chefs to build a strong and stable kitchen team.
* Drive standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency at all times.
About You
We're looking for a Kitchen Manager who is:
* Experienced in leading a kitchen team within hospitality, ideally pub/restaurant dining.
* Skilled in cooking and confident with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
* Knowledgeable about food safety, HACCP, and kitchen compliance.
* Commercially aware with experience managing stock, ordering, and controlling costs.
* A strong communicator and natural leader with the ability to inspire others.
* Resilient, organised, and thrives under pressure.
