What you will do:
* Work in line with North Lincolnshire’s thresholds to provide individuals with the right help at the right time, adapting support to their specific needs.
* Promote the Independent Living Service and contribute to staff development and training initiatives.
* Keep up-to-date with evidence-based research and new developments in Therapy Services, applying this knowledge to benefit the North Lincolnshire area.
* Offer a strong professional leadership role, coaching and mentoring team managers, back care advisors, and others to support strategic and operational goals.
* Monitor and enhance competencies of low-level prescribers.
* Assist with budget management and identify risks, adhering to Council procedures through monitoring and reporting.
* Collaborate with external partners within the Disabled Facilities Grant process.
* Provide expert advice and support on moving and handling issues.
* Develop and deliver training tailored to various audiences to ensure ongoing quality service delivery.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent UK experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally within the NHS.
* HCPC registration is essential.
