Video Editor for Podcast Series Focused on the Global Spanish Diaspora
Overview
We are launching a new podcast series called Mambowe Presenta, focused on interviewing underground and emerging artists across the global Spanish speaking diaspora.
We are looking for a video editor who speaks Spanish and understands cultural nuance, rhythm, and storytelling. This is not just an editing role. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with a show and a brand.
Current Status
•First episode is already recorded
•Footage is clean, well recorded, and single camera
•Episodes are typically 35 to 40 minutes
•Editing is straightforward and more about flow, pacing, and polish
We will share a link to the first episode as a reference.
What We Need
•Edit full podcast episodes
•Create a visual template for the show that can be reused week to week
•Design cool, clean lower thirds for guest names and titles
•Apply our existing branding, colors, and visual identity
•Integrate a podcast intro and outro which we are currently producing
•Deliver a final cut ready for YouTube and social clips later on
Style
•Clean and modern
•Culturally aware
•Not over edited
•Focused on conversation, energy, and authenticity
Language Requirement
Spanish fluency is required. The content is in Spanish and cultural understanding matters.
Schedule & Growth
•Goal is one episode per week
•This is a long term opportunity for the right person
•As the show grows, our goal is to attract sponsors, increase production value, and scale
