Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment Team at Hertfordshire County Council, based in St Albans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete statutory assessments for children and families in line with legislation and local procedures.
* Undertake Section 47 enquiries and child protection investigations where required.
* Develop and implement robust child and family plans based on assessed need.
* Work directly with children, parents, and carers to promote safety and positive change.
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to ensure effective safeguarding outcomes.
* Maintain high-quality case recording and ensure compliance with statutory timescales.
Pay Rate:
* £39.00 per hour Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification (Degree or equivalent).
* Social Work England Registration.
* Recent experience within a Children's Assessment Team.
* Sound knowledge of children's legislation, safeguarding, and statutory guidance.
* Ability to manage competing demands within a fast-paced environment.
