About the Department:
The Business Intelligence team manages the entire reporting and analytics lifecycle—from requirements gathering and data extraction to visualisation, testing, and delivery. The team supports finance, treasury, risk, and strategic planning, and manages enterprise BI tools and platforms, leveraging analytics to support informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote analytics and BI initiatives across departments to foster data-driven decision-making.
* Act as a subject matter expert for data platforms and reporting tools, guiding stakeholders.
* Maintain, optimise, and automate reporting outputs.
* Perform ad-hoc analyses to meet business needs.
* Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation in large databases.
* Support transformation initiatives by providing insights and reporting capabilities.
* Lead delivery of advanced analytics and AI projects aligned with strategy.
* Analyse performance data to identify trends and strategic opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure data accuracy.
* Advise on development of KPIs to support business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in a quantitative, scientific, or finance-related field.
* Extensive experience in BI, analytics, or MI roles.
* Strong SQL skills for large database querying and scalable code writing.
* Expertise in Tableau with dashboard/report development skills.
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modelling.
* Proven ability to apply analytics for business impact.
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
* Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts.
* Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and Jira.
* Experience with Power BI.
* Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
* Experience evaluating external data sources.
