At McCarthy Stone, we believe our colleagues are the key to creating communities where older people can live life to the fullest. As a Talent Acquisition (TA) Advisor, you'll play a vital role in making that happen – leading recruitment campaigns for our high-volume roles and ensuring every candidate and hiring manager experiences a process that's smooth, inclusive, and engaging.

This is more than just filling vacancies. It's about
partnering with hiring managers, sourcing great talent directly, and building pipelines
that keep our business growing. If you're a confident recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves seeing the impact of your work, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment campaigns, supporting our Services function with a focus on Care roles including:

* Managing high-volume recruitment campaigns from job advert to offer stage
* Screening and shortlisting candidates, ensuring a fair and inclusive process
* Partnering with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide insight into the talent market
* Driving candidate attraction through proactive sourcing, networking, and talent pooling
* Providing regular updates and meaningful feedback to candidates and managers
* Coordinating interviews with the TA Coordinator to keep processes moving quickly
* Keeping accurate, compliant records in our ATS (iRecruit)
* Supporting employer branding and attraction initiatives, including social media and job board campaigns
* Analysing recruitment performance with the TA Partner and recommending better routes to market
* Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, coaching them on best practice

What Success Looks Like

* Roles are filled quickly with high-quality hires who stay and thrive
* Hiring managers see you as a trusted partner and problem solver
* Candidate experiences are positive and consistent – from first contact to offer
* Proactive sourcing and talent pooling reduce reliance on external agencies
* Data and insight drive smarter decisions about attraction and hiring

What You'll Bring
We're looking for a recruiter who is proactive, people-focused, and ready to take ownership. You'll need:

* Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns (high-volume desirable)
* Recruitment background in care, hospitality, property management, or other service-driven industries
* Hands-on experience of direct sourcing (LinkedIn, CV databases, social media, job boards like Indeed)
* A track record of building strong, credible relationships with hiring managers
* Confidence using ATS or HRIS systems and comfortable working with data
* Knowledge of UK employment law and right-to-work checks

And Just As Important – You'll Be

* A strong communicator who can influence and engage
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple roles at pace
* Creative in your approach to candidate attraction
* Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in a busy environment

What You'll Get
Here, you'll be part of a supportive Talent Acquisition team where your work truly matters. We'll give you:

* Salary: circa £35,000 per annum
* Hybrid Working
* 24 days plus bank holidays
* 2 fully paid volunteering days per year (supported by the McCarthy Stone Foundation)
* Health benefits such as Private Health Care (Employee Only); Remote GP, 24/7 access to EAP Services (including counsellors and legal advisors) and eyecare voucher
* Pension scheme and life assurance
* Benefits to support your health and wellbeing
* The chance to learn, grow and progress in a busy in-house recruitment team
