New Opportunity: Interim Global Revenue Accountant
Location: Crawley | Contract: 6 months | Hours: 37.5/week | Hybrid: 2 days in office
Rate: £60k-£70k FTE, paid via daily rate (temp-to-perm potential)
A leading multinational business is seeking an experienced Global Revenue Accountant to join its high-performing finance team on an interim basis. This role focuses on complex, multi-element revenue recognition in a global environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review contracts, POs, and terms to ensure accurate revenue recognition under IFRS 15
* Prepare revenue and cost transfer journals
* Reconcile key revenue accounts and maintain amortisation schedules
* Perform variance analysis and support month-end close
* Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Audit, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations
* Contribute to integration work related to a potential acquisition
* Use Excel, JDE, Cognos, and Salesforce
Candidate Profile:
* 3-5 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally in a global context
* Strong knowledge of IFRS 15
* Background in services or manufacturing
* Analytical mindset with strong communication skills
* Experience in shared services or process transformation is a plus
* Comfortable working across time zones
