Job Introduction
We are currently looking for a temporary Site Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team at Dunbar Cement Plant to cover a period of maternity leave. This role is site based 5 days per week, Monday to Friday on a 37 hour week this is maternity cover fixed term contract.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist you will be responsible for:
1. Being the first point of contact for the site at Dunbar; this will include welcoming visitors and conducting basic checks
2. Ensuring induction for all visitors and compliance with site security procedures
3. General office administration and support for site
4. Supporting with administration of projects and initiatives
5. Organising and supporting the provision of training
6. Providing ad hoc support to the wider site as required
7. Contributing to and supporting the health and safety culture onsite, including being an ambassador
8. Maintenance of records, long-service awards, organising and supporting health surveillance on site
9. Handling and processing of purchase orders and invoices in a timely manner
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist will have experience in a similar role as well as experience of:
10. Excellent IT skills (MS Office)
11. General administration experience
12. Knowledge of a fast-moving working environment
13. Working independently
14. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
15. Organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail
16. Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
