Dunblane Medical Practice is offering something a little different: a long-term GP locum post (46 sessions) designed as a genuine try before you buy experience. What this role really is
This is not a parachute in, see 40 patients, and disappear locum post. It is:
1. Time to get to know the team, the systems, and the patients
2. Space to work at a sustainable pace (max 22 patients per day routine surgeries and shared on call as part of a team)
3. An honest opportunity to assess whether Dunblane Medical Practice could be somewhere youd consider putting down roots
If it feels right for both sides, there is the potential for a permanent post from 2027, but equally, if its not for you, you leave with experience gained and no awkwardness.
