Quality Assurance Manager
You will be working for a traditional business that produces high-quality, organic, and chilled fresh products which are supplied to wholesalers and specialist retailers, plus direct to consumers. The business has experienced phenomenal success and growth over the last few years, installing brand-new production lines and machinery to keep up with this increased demand.
About the Quality Assurance Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to take ownership for overseeing the day-to-day management of quality and food safety in the factory, ensuring compliance with the food safety, BRC, legal, and customer requirements.
Key tasks
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies to upgrade the current SALSA accreditation to meet BRCGS Standards.
* Conduct regular audits and analyse quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
* Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Train staff on quality practices and prepare reports for management, while staying updated on industry standards.
About You
* The successful candidate shall have a related food science degree.
* You should have a proven background within a Quality or Technical role working for a BRCGS accredited production facility, along with relevant BRC qualifications.
* Our client would also consider applicants at a supervisory level looking to take on the challenge of their first management role.

The Quality Assurance Manager job (ref:8905) is paying £45,000 according to your experience. Benefits include 32 days holiday, pension and onsite parking.
The role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday which includes bank holidays. The Quality Assurance Manager will be required to meet night shift workers as per the needs of the business.
This site is in Wiltshire and is commutable from Wootton Bassett, Chippenham, Marlborough, Swindon, Cirencester, Farringdon (Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire). Candidates should live nearby and be able to occasionally meet with night shift staff when necessary.
