We’re a small but ambitious team with roots in the UK and UAE. We're now hiring for a senior hire that will play a major role in scaling one of the core pillars of the agency: Paid Media

The role: Head of Paid Media
We’re looking for an experienced, commercially-minded Head of Paid Media to lead all things paid strategy, performance and platform across the agency.
This is a senior role with full ownership. You’ll work directly with the founder and our clients to build, scale and optimise campaigns that drive measurable results. You’ll lead our media offering across Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn and Snap, while laying the foundations to grow the team under you.
This is not a campaign manager role. You’ll be the strategic lead, the performance driver, and the key point of contact for all things media. But you’ll also be close to the detail - platform, creative, budgets, tracking, results.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, you’ll play a key role in building a performance function that can scale globally, with a team underneath you.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is varied and hands-on. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Strategy and Performance
* Own full-funnel paid media strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn and Snap
* Translate briefs into structured media plans, budgets, platform mix and testing frameworks
* Build performance-focused plans for both ecom and lead-gen clients
* Set KPIs, benchmarks and forecast results based on budget and goals
* Own day-to-day campaign planning, optimisations and reporting (to start, with eventual team support)
Client Management and Communication
* Act as the media lead on all accounts, running weekly updates, performance reviews and strategy sessions
* Present paid strategies during onboarding, pitch or renewal phases
* Handle client comms relating to campaign pacing, optimisations and performance insights
* Collaborate with founders, CMOs and senior stakeholders on both client and agency side
Creative Collaboration
* Work closely with our internal creative team and motion designers to ensure assets are platform-optimised
* Inform ad creative strategy based on performance data and creative testing
* Feed real insights into the production process - format, hooks, messaging, structure, length
Team and Process Development
* Build and manage internal playbooks, campaign templates, performance trackers and SOPs
* Oversee platform setup, tracking implementation and campaign QA processes
* Support hiring, training and onboarding of junior media buyers and strategists
* Help shape OnSocial’s positioning, pitch materials, case studies and sales process for paid media
What we’re looking for
We don’t care about your degree or how many years you’ve done the job. We care that you’ve run serious paid media campaigns and know what good looks like.
You’ll likely:
* Have experience working in a performance agency or brand-side leading digital campaigns
* Be confident running campaigns across Meta, TikTok and at least one other major channel (Google, Snap, LinkedIn)
* Know how to read performance data and translate it into real decisions
* Understand how to brief creatives and collaborate with content teams
* Be commercially minded — understanding budget allocation, margins and ROAS
* Be confident presenting your ideas, data and rationale to senior clients
* Be proactive, fast-moving and happy to work in a startup-style environment
* Want to take ownership and grow something long-term, not just clock in and out
Bonus if you’ve:
* Worked across multiple geographies (e.g. UK, UAE, US, Europe)
* Built creative testing frameworks or structured performance pipelines Experience building a team or managing junior media specialists
* Have knowledge of conversion tracking, attribution or ad tech
