What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead end-to-end QA delivery across financial testing streams, from planning through to execution
* Own test strategies, estimates, and key artefacts aligned to project timelines
* Manage and mentor QA team members, supporting performance and workload allocation
* Track progress, risks, and issues, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
* Run defect triage sessions, driving prioritisation and resolution
* Collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to maintain quality across integrations
* Review requirements and designs, providing a QA-focused perspective
* Perform detailed financial reconciliation across transactions, prize allocations, and reporting datasets
* Carry out complex Excel-based calculations to validate financial models and outcomes
* Investigate discrepancies and support root-cause analysis
* Contribute to continuous improvement across QA processes and standards
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong QA background (6+ years) across functional and structured testing
* Proven experience in financial testing, reconciliation, or data-heavy environments
* Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and large dataset handling
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability with strong attention to detail
* Experience with risk-based testing and requirement validation
* Familiarity with test environments, data setup, and configuration management
* Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
* Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and API testing tools
* Bonus: experience in gaming, lottery, or financial transaction systems
