Careers for the Driven
The Junior Training Specialist role will be responsible for the execution and implementation of the regional training strategy. The responsibilities include all aspects of instructor:led classroom training and virtual training, which includes collaboration with the Learning Experience and Instructional Design teams to help support the development of training content. A critical aspect of this role with be stakeholder involvement and the evaluation of the training and the effectiveness/return of these programs.
How You'll Make an Impact
:
Facilitates instructor:led product and sales training for internal and distributor partners across a region.
:
Collaborates with Training Manager, business leadership, and key stakeholders to asses, prioritize, and ensure alignment on regional needs.
:
Maintains and updates existing training materials to ensure compatibility and localization for desired region.
:
Plans and coordinates all onsite and virtual training events to include subject matter experts, material preparation, and logistics.
:
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Communications:

Internal:Regular contact with sales leadership (directors, regional sales managers, territory business managers), internal personnel/subject matter experts, and corporate resources (marketing, customer experience, etc)

External:Third party distributors, joint venture partners, training vendor partners
What You'll Need

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree
Experience Required:
:
Minimum 2 years training, automotive, or sales related experience
:
Familiarity with "do it for me" (DIFM) automotive, "do it yourself' (DIY), or heavy:duty market experience preferred
:
Strong track record of training and/or sales experience
:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Teams, PPT, Excel (or equivalent)
