TeacherActive are proud to be one of the UK s leading education recruitment agencies, working closely with Secondary Schools across the Maidstone area. We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to start this September, providing day-to-day and long-term cover across our partner schools.
The role of a Cover Supervisor includes:
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes in KS3 and KS4
* Managing behaviour to ensure a calm and engaging learning environment
* Supporting students with their learning and encouraging participation
* Covering a variety of subjects and year groups across the school
* Ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the class teacher
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
* A CACHE Level 2/3 qualification OR at least 6 months of classroom experience
* The ability to manage a class of students aged with confidence
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and school settings
