We are looking for a Lead Agile Delivery Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital. Joining our Data & Analytics Platform and Operations team, you'll drive delivery of products and services that enable millions of people to access the help, advice and financial support that they need. Here you'll do work that matters and makes a difference, come and help us develop DWP's Data services of the future. Delivering with People. You'll lead agile delivery for secure, high-quality data platforms, products and services aligned to user needs. The role is about driving the delivery of secure, high - performing cloud-based data platforms and leading complex, multi-team programmes to ensure consistency. You'll coach teams, manage senior stakeholders and resolve delivery challenges to optimise flow and outcomes. You'll foster innovation and continuous improvement to deliver impactful, efficient data solutions that support DWP's strategic goals.You'll handle high-risk challenges, manage complicated dependencies, and act as a key escalation point to remove blockers. Developing a World-Class Practice. Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. We lead a cross-government community which meets once a month to share ideas and discuss emerging trends. You're a leader. You'll support and develop your team, providing mentorship, regular feedback, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture rooted in agile principles. You'll tackle obstacles head-on, fine-tune workflows, and champion a culture where continuous improvement is embedded in everything the team does. Your leadership will keep delivery moving efficiently, creating the momentum needed for impactful, lasting change. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? How will this be assessed? In your application, you should showcase clear examples and evidence of how you meet the following criteria: Experience of leading agile delivery for secure, high-quality, performant data platforms, products and services aligned to user needs. Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high performing teams and influence diverse stakeholder groups, including experience of coaching and mentoring. Be an experienced agile practitioner, with deep knowledge of agile and lean tools and techniques, leading by example, coaching delivery specialists across multiple teams, building capability ensuring teams deliver value often. Lead the delivery of complex work, managing multiple teams and senior stakeholders, building momentum, and balancing competing demands. Communicate with clarity, building influence and trust at all levels, managing stakeholder expectations, and facilitating discussions on high-risk or complex issues and risks. Optimise team delivery flow, adapt to changing user priorities, implementing changes to team structures, and coordinate efforts across teams to maintain and improve momentum. Details. Wages. Perks.
