Role Description
You will carry out a variety of tasks including collaborating with architects and other professionals, site visits, meetings and design work. You'll be responsible for performing structural analysis, framing and calculations, preparing detailed designs and sketches and overseeing the production of CAD and Revit drawings. Day-to-day tasks will involve working with colleagues to develop innovative and efficient temporary works and permanent solutions for various structures and liaising with other designers and contractors, both on site and in office to review suggestions and refine ideas. You will have support from senior engineers and admin staff, along with access to regular CPDs, good coffee and semi-flexible hours.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer, based in our East Croydon office just a few minutes from the station.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proficiency in Structural Framing, Analysis and Element Design
A solid understanding of Structural Engineering principles
Experience with CAD/Revit software
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
An appreciation of Architectural design
Experience of working on small projects
Experience of inspections and reports
Comfortable with Sketching and Hand Calculations
Ability to work flexibly and manage deadlines
Minimum Requirements
A Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Familiarity with Eurocodes/British Standards and the Building Regulations
Fair skill in any design software
Fair skill in design of Steel, Concrete and Timber elements
Some experience of running own projects

£45-50k/year (dependent on experience) full time employment
25 days/year annual leave plus bank holidays
35hrs/week with agile core hours of 10-4
